Employee Development Services is a vocational training program, provided on-site at JCI or in the community, that places emphasis on building appropriate work skills and habits. The training is time limited depending on individualized needs, not usually lasting more than three months.
EDS teaches appropriate work skills, eliminates barriers to employment, and aids in the development of individual career goals, using contract work outsourced from local companies, prime manufacturing, work experiences, and community-based job try-outs.

The EDS program is designed to help individuals overcome barriers to employment, enabling them to move towards employment in the community.
Participants work with staff to develop an individual employment plan to aid in eliminating barriers, thus enabling them to move toward being competitive in jobs of their choice.
While attending, the EDS program helps promote self-sufficiency by offering:
CARF accredited in Employee Development Services
