Job Shadowing 2010 Review

Yes I Can is a year round youth program federally funded through the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA).  The program is designed for in-school and out-of school youth between the ages of 16-21 who because of existing barriers in their life need support in order to achieve educational aspirations and to attain gainful employment.

Youth services are built around four major themes of youth development:
1. Improving Educational Achievement
2. Preparing for and Succeeding in Employment
3. Supportive Services for Youth
4. Developing Youth Potential as Citizens and Leaders

Activities in Yes I Can include:

Assistance With Applying & Entering Educational Programs

Assistance with transportation, housing, etc.
